The first part was pretty boring.
I can tell you that much. While I’m sure that will appeal to many readers, it really disappointed me, as Batgirl and Catwoman were just relegated to auxiliary characters once again. The story is engaging enough, but the art by Kevin Maguire is fantastic.

Silly, but not too silly. In this story, Batgirl only knows Catwoman by reputation and what Batman has said about her and what Robin has told her about their inappropriate relationship. Instead of a cool battle between two strong, interesting female leads, however, it was more like some guy’s ok, fine, plenty of guys’ and some girls’ fantasy of two hot chicks fighting over Batman. People whose opinions I respect have dismissed this book as sexist. Seqential MInded on June 24, 3: I don’t have too much knowledge of Batgirl, but really enjoyed the the portrayal of a really raw talent nagged by doubts about what she does on night-time.

Light and funny in a rom-com way. Fabian Nicieza has a really firm grasp sorry on the character of Batgirl, and her internal dialogue is, what I believe to be, spot on.
Nothing says a classic like taking two strong female characters and making them completely superficial. The volume does gain steam as it goes along, and a solid final act keeps this out of 1-star territory To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up.
Refresh and try again. At times funny, but also great fights that are well-timed. She finally surrenders her cape, and with nothing but her confidebtial for an identity, she enters in to a room full of very naked Gothamites.
