Also Graves grows a lot in that book, he really isn’t the skinny goth-boy anymore while Dru loose her tough girl facade to reveal a wounded and scared girl. The reason I didn’t rate is higher was because Dru annoys me slightly. More about Lili St.

I enjoy the st.crkw of Graves and Christoph and the bevy of other characters introduced. Her parents are long gone. She’s also discovered a very strong threat against her life. In a previous book, our heroine Dru, has realised her best friend can become semi-wolf in a shape-changing way, and she’s tending to the vampire side of things.

Was the climax that she changed schools? The plot is tight with plenty of twists and turns you don’t see coming.

To those who read the first book would also know that Dru is also a rare female djampir called the svetocha. After that she felt much more like herself.

I honestly didn’t see it. The writing style was as annoying as in the first book, Dru had still too much of her internal monologues and for someone who thought herself clever, she actually suffered TSTL syndrome most of the time.
