That was truly special. Well worth the credit – go ahead and buy it! Internal Affairs needs proof, and Darren gets to be their eyes and ears whether he wants to or not.
Over time he’s found a home of sorts, and he even learns he’s found a place in the hearts of the people he works with So much of whether you like this book or not will depend on how you feel about that kind of character and conflict.
But reading it, there are a lot of details in the story.
Thank you Rowan for rowwan poignant but gorgeous story I recommend it highly. If Eli had been less perfect I probably would have enjoyed it more. Battling nightmares and addiction, he leaves the concrete jungle for New Mexico horse country, hoping to start over on his uncle’s ranch.

View all 20 comments. In some ways it was, but less so than I think I was expecting. If the Seas Catch Fire By: Joshua’s plan seems to work – maybe a fresh start was just what he needed.

It’s part of being an adult. He was immature and inconsiderate.
And though he did everything he was put there to do — bring down the operation from the inside — he also did other things, made sacrifices to himself and riwan to get the job done. The epilogue was all about Josh’s uncle, not the MCs.
It was meant to be a long happy review about this wonderful cowboy romance, but there were a lot of holidays and stuff to do so once again, short and sweet: Falling Down by Eli Easton.
Of course, there was drama involved, which is almost a given with Josh’s background, but it felt pretty understated to me. Eli “rescues” Josh with his gentle voice and manners rosan the parallels between the work gentling horses and Josh are everywhere. He is guilt ridden and mentally devastated at the things he had to do for his job. It adds to the experience Any additional comments?

The first word speewell comes to mind when I think about the story of Joshua and Eli and the cast of characters that help to make this tale so enthralling.
