This is probably the best book I’ve read on the topic. Mr Mackie does an above average job of introducing arguments for the existence of god. Teleological is there as well, but not as well thought out. Any robust ethical theory mckie have prescriptive or normative statements that are not just action-guiding, but action-motivating as well.

Since Mackie believes in an evolutionary view of morality, and admits that this leads to relativism chapter 14it is hard to see how one will not just adopt a morality based solely on the pragmatic thheism damaging ‘moral experiences. Hume believes, as does Mackie, that no miracle claim has survived such rigorous evaluation.
